We are glad to announce that a new school, Cherokee Charter Academy from Canton County of Georgia, has joined CarpoolAssist for their carpooling needs! The Cherokee Charter recently opened their doors on August of 2011 in Canton, Georgia for kindergarten through eighth grader students.
As the founders opened up the Charter Academy, they strived towards one key goal, that is to focus strictly on the academics of their students to help them prosper in the future. However, since the school is located in a rural county, not only do they rely on the help of the county and US Charter Schools Association, but they also need to rely on the parents’ cooperation and dedication to bring their kids/students to school. A majority of students live between 20-35 miles away from the school and unlike other public schools, this charter school has no public transportation available in that area. The long distance from home to school adds its unique challenges in fulfilling the education needs for the kids. Therefore, with the help of our services, parents are now able to find carpools around their neighborhood instead of spending so much time in commuting and consuming fuel.
Cherokee Charter Academy has one less worry about their student’s everyday commute to school and they can devote more time in making the education worthwhile for the students. Parents will also get a break from everyday commute and will be able to interact with their fellow neighbors and new friends. Welcome to CarpoolAssist Cherokee Charter Academy!
